Seven months ago, Daniel Sams, one of the top players in Louisiana gave a verbal commitment to Bill Snyder and Kansas State. The Wildcats have started the 2010 season with a 4-1 record while Sams has his team sitting with a perfect 6-0 record heading into the team's open week. Other schools have continued to try to recruit the three-star rated athlete since his pledge to wear the purple became known.
