Distance is a funny thing in recruiting. Sometimes, long after a commitment is given, a player can start to get options closer to home.

So even before Virginia parted ways with four coaches following its season finale, three-star Texas cornerback Hipolito Corporan was one of a handful of Cavalier pledges that kept other options open in spite of their commitments. So where do things stand with him now?
