Out of high school in New Orleans, Duron Singleton didn't have many offers and decided to take a detour to junior college in Fresno, Cali., to improve his stock.

Three years later, Singleton's path led him to his goal. He signed with Missouri on Wednesday, filling a big need as a safety in the Tigers' secondary.
