DECATUR, Ind. -- This distant replay drops us in the middle of Adams County in
March of 1922. The 'district tourney' as it was called at the time had just
been completed, and the six vanquished schools all determined that they had
been sent packing at the hands of crooked referees. "A rotten deal" for
sure as Liberty Center claimed. Decatur marches on, but sour grapes and
hearings rule the day...
