Gildon has Michigan connections
Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian is the hotbed of football talent in the class of 2007, featuring as many as four players who are vying for five-star status.
Six-foot-one, 187-pound cornerback prospect Anthony Gildon is one of those player and while the talent surrounding him makes it tough to forge his own place, it certainly helps with getting his name in front of college coaches.
Nine schools have already offered the talented Gildon who runs a 4.45 40-yard dash and possesses a 39-inch vertical leap.
With an offer from Michigan, as well as schools like Nebraska, Utah, Mississippi State and Tennessee, he has plenty of choices.
One school, however, has decidedly risen to the top of his list.
"The University of Oregon, that's my top school right now," said Gildon.
