Proctor can see himself as a LSU QB

Despite the fact that LSU has a verbal commitment from Brenham quarterback Jarrett Lee, another Texan, Pearland signal caller Sam Proctor has LSU at the top of his list and he wants to compete.


This summer Proctor says he has had a very fruitful summer as he and his teammates have been putting in many hours to improve.


"It has been pretty productive and successful at this point with the workouts and the seven-on-seven passing leagues," Proctor said.


Proctor says he currently stands at 6-foot-2 and 205-pounds just transferred to Pearland from Dobie where he has an outstanding junior season. He rushed for 799 yards on 111 carries (7.2 ypc) with 15 touchdowns and threw for another 807 yards with 7 touchdowns.
