Four-star corner ranks Auburn high after camp
Chaminade-Madonna High School in Hollywood, Fla., is loaded with a number of D-I prospects for the class of 2007 including five who attended Auburn's senior mini-camp Saturday.
The highest rated of the group was four-star cornerback Akeem Auguste who holds over 20 scholarship offers.
"It was a good trip," said Auguste. "I liked the atmosphere up there and meeting some of the guys on the team like Anthony Campbell, Oscar Gonzalez and Walter McFadden. We had a pretty good time hanging out."
Campbell, Gonzalez and McFadden are three of nine south Florida players on Auburn's current roster.
"They said they really like it up there," said Auguste. "They want me to come up and play with them."
