Practice report: Hits highlight the day

PowerMizzou.com After losing the black jerseys three practices ago, the Tiger defense was looking to earn the jerseys back. A strong start led to some surprising hits in return from the offense. PowerMizzou was in attendance for the early morning workout.
*David Overstreet, Marcus Woods, and Hardy Ricks all remained in the red pullovers during workouts. Overstreet and Woods then shed the pullovers during 11-on-11 drills.
*Andrew Hoskins, Jason Ray, Brad Ekwerekwu, Adam Casey, and Van Alexander were all held out of practice today.
*Tyler Luellen was red free for the third straight practice.
*Player of the Day: Had to be Bracey. His hands looked impressive throughout the practice. If he can become a reliable receiver, his speed alone makes him a dangerous weapon. Bracey could provide balance to William Franklin and take pressure off Rucker and Coffman.
