When offensive lineman Trevor Robinson of Elkhorn, Neb., checks his mail on Friday, the 6-foot-5, 290-pounder hopes to be among the first junior prospects to receive a written scholarship offer. Sept. 1 marks the first day colleges can mail official offers to recruits in the 2008 class.

"I'm looking forward to Friday," Robinson said. "We've got a big game coming up against the No. 1 team (Beatrice) in the state. I'm also hoping to get some big offers but you take what you can get."
