The West Virginia University football staff has received a verbal commitment from cornerback Ellis Lankster.

The 5-10 195-pound athlete chose West Virginia after previously giving a verbal commitment to Mississippi State. He also received offers from Virginia, Ole Miss, and Memphis among others.
