Auburn commits bond, impress
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.- One of the most impressive group of commits at the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl comes from Auburn University. The Tigers are well-represented with four players on the East squad and one on the West.
The game kicks off at 7 p.m. Thursday night and will be televised live by ESPNU.
The four on the East, tight end Bailey Woods, running back Enrique Davis, center Chaz Ramsey and kicker Wes Byrum all are expected to start for the East.
Quarterback commit Kodi Burns likely will see action for the West, but may not come out with the first unit. Regardless of when he's in the game, he's been impressive this week both throwing and running.
"I love slinging the rock and I've been doing at this week and I plan to do that at Auburn," he said. "Of course, Auburn also has a great running game every year and we'll have to keep it on the ground some, but right now on the West, we are slinging the rock and I like it."
Burns also is excited about being around other future Tigers.
