Moore already planning for fall
After a senior season that saw him run for nearly 2000 yards as well as 341 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns, Missouri commit Devion Moore has been already preparing himself for next fall. Unlike many of his fellow recruits, Moore has forgone playing sports this semester in preparation for the fall.
Moore said that he has spent most of his time outside the class room this semester in his school weight room, as well as preparing himself for the mental side of football at the next level.
When not in class or working out, Moore said that he has spent time staying in close contact with his lead recruiter, Cornell Ford. Moore said that he has really enjoyed getting to know the Missouri coach.
Along with several of the coaches, Moore said that he has enjoyed keeping in touch with Cornelius "Pig" Brown, his host on his official visit. Moore said that the two of them have similar backgrounds and have been able to relate since first meeting.
The final hurdle for Moore, he said, will be on signing day. Moore was not sure of the specifics, but knows that it will be a big day for everyone at Hazelwood Central.
