Horns enter the race for Hales
Texas Longhorn fans have been hoping for the past several weeks that their team would begin recruiting Klein Oak wide receiver DeSean Hales, and the burnt orange fan base officially got its wish last week when Texas assistant coach Oscar Giles got in touch with Hales via text message.
Several other programs, including LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Nebraska (to name but a few) have been recruiting Hales for months, and the 5-foot-10, 165-pound playmaker said he's glad the Longhorns have officially joined the race.
