Ward checks out N.C. State
One of the many Division I-A offensive line prospects in the state of North Carolina for the Class of 2008, Reidsville Rockingham County's Justin Ward, made an unofficial visit to North Carolina State for the Wolfpack's Junior Day event.
"It went great. I got to meet all of the coaches and everything," Ward said. "I met (head coach) Tom O'Brien and coach Don Horton, the offensive line coach. We talked about how normal practice weeks at State would go and everything."
Ward also met with N.C. State assistant Jason Swepson, his recruiting coach.
"He said they are really interested," he said. "That they were watching film and everything."
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Ward received an offer from the previous N.C. State staff. O'Brien and company addressed that.
