Dannewitz enjoys ND visit
Notre Dame continues to pick up recruiting momentum this spring. The Irish again hosted several unofficial visitors last week including Ryan Dannewitz of San Jacinto, Calif. The 6-foot-6, 257-pound offensive lineman arrived in Chicago on Tuesday and made his visit to campus on Wednesday.
"I liked it a lot," said Dannewitz. The facilities were real nice and I liked the coaches. We talked about me coming for camp on June 2."
Dannewitz, who holds offers from Colorado, Oregon, Arizona and several others, said he learned a lot about what Notre Dame has to offer.
"I talked to their offensive line coach and Charlie Weis," he said. "I thought it was good because I got to learn a lot about the school and the football program."
Several weeks ago, Dannewitz made his first unofficial visit when he traveled to Colorado. He's also planning on seeing Arizona State and several other schools on his list.
