Slaughter ready to check out Irish
Notre Dame has been interested in Jamoris Slaughter for months. This weekend, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound defensive back will learn just how interested he is in Notre Dame.
Slaughter will drive north to South Bend for the Blue-Gold Game weekend, trekking from Stone Mountain, Ga., with his parents and brother. The spring scrimmage represents Slaughter's first look at a program that sits squarely among his leaders.

He's plays primarily at safety for Tucker High School but is being recruited as a cornerback by the Irish.
As for where Slaughter will play his college football, he said Notre Dame, Georgia, California, Florida and Louisville comprise his Top 5, with only the Gators hanging around without an offer. Slaughter said he's up to nearly 15 scholarships with the most recent offers coming from LSU and Oklahoma earlier this week.
