The recruitment of El Camino (Calif.) community college defensive tackle Justin Thompson may not have ended when the 6-foot-5, 290-pounder gave a verbal commitment to the Miami Hurricanes as many thought. The former Los Angeles (Calif.) Westchester high star still is interested in the Buckeyes and a recent Ohio State offer certainly does not hurt the Buckeyes chances in getting the big man to change his mind.
BuckeyeGrove.com caught up with Thompson's position coach Tim Hyde and it now appears that Thompson plans to camp at Ohio State in June after remaining in contact with coaches Jim Heacock and John Peterson.
Other schools that are still involved with Thompson include LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma and California.
