Spring practice in full gear for Mike Bryant
In early April, Lavergne (Tenn.) offensive lineman Michael Bryant made a big decision. After receiving strong interest from a number of programs, the 6-foot-5.5, 270-pound Wolverines tackle committed to Vanderbilt after receiving a offer from the program.
Since he made his decision, the quick and aggressive Bryant has been able to focus on other things such as the last month of his junior year at Lavergne as well as the upcoming 2007 football season in the always competitive Region 4-5A.
"We started practice about a week ago and were doing just fine," Bryant told VandySports.com recently. "We scrimmaged Dickson County on Friday and we did better than I thought we would to be honest with you.
"Next week we have one against Brentwood. I'm not sure if it's home or away but I believe it's on Friday."
