This past weekend was a chance for Novi, Mich., defensive tackle Mike Martin to show what he could do at the annual NIKE Football Training Camp in State College.

Simultaneously, it was also a chance for the Penn State coaching staff to show Martin what the university and the Nittany Lions have to offer.

Martin, a 6-foot-1, 295 pounder, said that he made the trip not only for the competitive atmosphere of the NIKE Camp, but also to check out Penn State, a school that recently sent him a written scholarship offer.

Martin names Penn State and Michigan as his favorites.
