With a championship track season over and summer in the midst, Rivals100 athlete Lamaar Thomas from Friendly High School in Fort Washington [Md.] can shift his full attention to his football recruitment.

He received an offer from Virginia last week, and got a pleasant surprise in his mailbox at the start of the weekend as his newest offer arrived.

The 5-foot-10, 166-pound Thomas received an offer from Penn State.
