Junior college receiver looking to turn heads
Wide receiver Jeremy LaFrance has his eyes set firmly on a scholarship and the opportunity to prove his talents at the Division I level.
After playing all four years of his high school career at John F. Kennedy High School in New Orleans, La., LaFrance moved to California to play at Compton Community College. He says the move, in itself, has prepared him for the future; having already moved almost all the way across the country, he doesn't consider location to be any factor whatsoever in his decision-making process.
He hasn't received any scholarship offers yet, but has been hearing from Ole Miss, Kansas State, and a couple Pac-10 schools, including Washington.
