Cravens narrows favorites
Siaki Cravens' game is expanding. Initially, the 6-foot-3, 220-pounder from Temecula Valley High School (Temecula, Calif.) was thought of as a tight end. Now, he is beginning to project as a wide receiver and defensive end as well.
While he constantly works to add to his football repertoire, it definitely helps that Cravens is also growing physically. He has grown about two inches and gained at least 10 pounds since his junior year began.
"I'm lifting weights every day and working on my speed," notes Cravens, who runs a 4.6 forty.
On the recruiting front, Utah is the only school to offer Cravens so far. He has also been receiving letters from Washington, Boise State, Arizona State, Kansas, Miami (FL), and USC. Besides Utah, Cravens, who averaged 30.8 yards per catch last season, lists Washington and USC as his schools of choice.
