Robert Golden emphasizes commitment
Arizona picked up a big time commitment in May when 5-foot-10, 182-pound Fresno (Calif.) Edison cornerback Robert Golden verbaled to the UA.
However, Golden's early commitment didn't stop other schools from recruiting the four-star prospect, rated as the 10th best cornerback nationally and the 18th overall player in California.
Along the way, he's picked up offers from Georgia Tech, Michigan, Ole Miss, Fresno State, Oregon State, Minnesota, Arizona State, California and UCLA has told him it will offer as well.
There have been plenty of rumors going around that Golden is still interested in other schools and planning on opening up his recruitment. He helped alleviate those rumors in a recent interview with Greg Biggins of Rivals.com but also wanted to make sure that UA fans know to not worry about how strong his commitment is.
