The fifth-ranked junior college prospect according to Rivals.com has plans for an official visit to LSU this weekend. Torrance (CA) El Camino Community College defensive tackle Justin Thompson (6-5, 280) will be in town to see the Tigers take on the Florida Gators, and said Monday he likes what LSU has to offer.

"They always have a good defensive line, and they have good coaches," Thompson said. "It's just a great school and fooball program, the No. 1 team in the nation."

Thompson plans to arrive in Baton Rouge on Thursday and stay through Sunday.
