Banged up Boilers; Purdue basketball notes
Chris Kramer, Keaton Grant and Robbie Hummel may be limited in what they do early on in practices.
Kramer returns after undergoing two off-season surgeries on his shins to relieve painful compartment syndrome.
Grant and Hummel have been bothered by tendonitis in their knees, which has caused them to miss some conditioning work.
"Those guys are going to kind of be hit and miss the first couple of weeks to see how much they practice or how much they don't practice," Coach Matt Painter said.
Painter added that he's concerned about Grant and Hummel because the tendonitis isn't going away.
"I don't think Keaton Grant and Robbie Hummel are going to be 100 percent this year," Painter admitted. "I just don't think it's going to happen."
