Quinn as excited as ever about Arizona
It's hard to find an Arizona commitment as excited about his future in Tucson as Brentwood (Calif.) Liberty offensive tackle Kyle Quinn.
The 6-foot-3, 279-pound lineman committed to Arizona in July and his feelings about the UA program have only increased since. However, before the three-star prospect starts his Arizona career, he has one more high school game to complete.
It's been a tough season for Liberty, as the team is 1-8 overall, but the most important game of the season is this Friday, Nov. 9, at Freedom.
"It's a big rivalry game," Quinn said. "We call it the 'bell game', we're playing for a big gold bell. We're trying to even up the series of 10 bell games. They've won five, we've won four, so we're trying to steal it back on their field. That's all I'm thinking about right now."
Despite his team's record, Quinn is happy with how he's playing and is coming to terms with the fact that his last game as a prep is only a couple days away.
"Right now I'm playing very well," he said. "I've been doing very well on the o-line the past few weeks. Our record isn't the best but I'm still having fun and I can't believe it's my last week of high school (football)."
