A once promising season has gone awry for Texas A&M University; amidst their five losses are rumors of a potential buyout of head coach Dennis Franchione's contract.

Making matters worse, Tony Jerod, a 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end from Desoto (Texas), may be having second thoughts about his commitment to the Aggies.
