SoCal DL sets two trips
Defensive tackle/offensive lineman Otis Jones (6-2.5, 273, 4.9) from Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger saw his stock pick after a strong senor season and good showing at the Last Chance combine put on by Student Sports last month.
"Otis is an impressive physical specimen when you see him in person," Leuzinger assistant coach in charge of recruiting Ralph Oliver said. "That is the reason that ASU is tripping Otis this weekend.
"Arizona State is also impressed with his speed and overall athleticism," Oliver said. "ASU told us that they feel the local schools, UCLA and USC, are sleeping on a diamond in the rough.
"ASU isn't the only Pac 10 school that is beginning to see the upside in Otis," Oliver said. "Oregon is tripping Otis on January 18th. The Ducks love his speed and strength.
