5-Star WR talks to UGA's Searels
Chad Simmons
UGASports.com Georgia has not signed many out of the state of Louisiana, but hiring Stacy Searels away from LSU over a year ago could change that. His time in Baton Rouge has helped UGA with five-star receiver Rueben Randle.
"Georgia offered me a couple of weeks ago," said Randle. "They called my head coach Brad Bradshaw and they told him they were offering me."
"My coach knows Coach Searels and I know Coach Searels too from when he coached at LSU. I ended up talking to Coach Searels on the phone after they offered me and he invited me down for a visit and my coach is going to take me this spring."
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound receiver out of Bastrop knows a little about Georgia, but he wants to learn more.
"I have watched them on t.v. a few times and I know they have a good program every year. They always have good players and they send a lot to the NFL too. I don't know a lot about them, but I don't think that would be a bad place to go."
He says Georgia would not be a bad place to play, but it looks like the place he chooses will have to be like paradise because he will have a lot of places to choose from.
