Lowe has plenty of offers to choose from
Following the 2008 season the Oklahoma Sooners stand a chance of losing all five of their starting offensive lineman, including possible first-day draft choices Phil Loadholt and Duke Robinson. With that in mind the recruiting class of 2009 figures to be an important one for the future with Sooners offensive line coach James Patton eyeing multiple prospects.
One player who seems to continually pop up in regards to the Sooner offensive line effort is Brownwood, Texas offensive tackle Stavion Lowe. The 6-foot-6, 294-pound blocker took a trip to Norman last month and still has quite a few positive things to say about his first tour of Norman.
"Oh man, it was a great trip, even though they haven't offered me, I wanted to see that school and the possibilities," Lowe recalled. "I got to watch practice and everything and talk a lot with coach Patton.
