Pachall pulls in Florida offer
Casey Pachall is still a hot commodity. The Frogs sewed up a commitment in March from the Brownwood, TX star but other schools continue to enter the fray. With offers in hand from the likes of TCU, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Arizona, Iowa St., Baylor and Houston, it's clear to see that this young man is still in high demand.
PurpleMenace.Com has now learned that a new school has offered Pachall. The Florida Gators, hailing from the powerful SEC, are joining the ranks of teams that are hoping they have what it takes to lure the talented gunslinger away from TCU. Pachall has a response to the attention he's receiving from around the country....Thanks, but not interested.
The Rivals 250 QB told PurpleMenace.Com last night that he is solid to TCU and that he is not looking around. TCU, in the midst of assembling their best recruiting class maybe ever, has a lot to offer Pachall. With the opportunity to come in and learn under Sophomore to be, Andy Dalton, Pachall will have the chance to come in and play early but not be rushed. Combine that with the fact that TCU has built a solid top 25 program that continues to climb the ranks of college football's elite and you can see why Pachall is excited about his decision to wear the purple and white.
Pachall has put up some pretty impressive numbers the last two years. Combining to complete 223-416 passes for 3,412 yards and 20 TD passes between his sophomore and junior years, Pachall has put himself in position to take it to the next level in 2009. To go along with the impressive passing yardage, Pachall has amassed over 1,000 yards rushing and scored 16 TD's on the ground in 06' and 07' combined. Look for Pachall to do more of the same in the 2008 season as his hard off season work should lead to even more impressive numbers.
