Auburn has picked up a commitment from one of its top running back targets in Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview's Brandon Jacobs.

The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder informed lead recruiter Greg Knox of the news Monday night.

"I just called coach Knox and told him that Auburn is where I want to be for the next four years," said Jacobs. "Auburn is a great place and the coaches have a really good bond with the players. It just looks like a place that I want to be."
