A large number of factors go into the success of any football team. In this series, we will be examining 15 of them. More specifically, we will be taking a reverse order look at the Buffaloes' top 15 returning players.

We have based the list off their performance in previous years, spring ball and their projected impact for the upcoming season.

Defensive end Maurice Lucas has started 14 games so far in his career at CU. Much like wide receiver Patrick Williams, Lucas has had his moments, but has not lived up to his full potential.
