Forcier sets official visit plans
San Diego (CA) Scripps Ranch quarterback Tate Forcier has bucked the trend in recruiting this year. While most of his peers have made early commitments, the Rivals250 prospect is taking his time. In fact, he is the No. 2-ranked uncommitted passer in the country at the moment.
The 6-foot-1, 184-pound dual-threat quarterback says there is a good reason that he is waiting a little longer than most. It is actually a very simple one - he doesn't know where he wants to go.
"You know, I know that a lot of other quarterbacks have committed early, but I just can't do that," said Forcier. "I have a brother playing quarterback at UCLA and another one playing at Stanford and both of them went through the recruiting process. They say that, unless you're 100-percent sure, there's no reason to commit early.
