Tommy Tuberville has led Auburn to eight straight bowl games. But the Tigers have a lot of work to do if they're going to earn a postseason trip this year.

Auburn (4-4, 2-3 SEC) will need to win two of its next four games to finish with a 6-6 record and be bowl eligible. With the final two games of the season against No. 6 Georgia and No. 2 Alabama, Saturday's matchup against Ole Miss (4-4, 2-3) is almost a must-win situation for the Tigers.

But Tuberville is not ready to put that much pressure on his team, which is coming off its third-straight loss.

"I don't see any of them as must-wins," Tuberville said. "We must get better. That's how we're looking at it."

Must-win or not, quarterback Kodi Burns understands the importance of Saturday's matchup against the Rebels.

"It's definitely important because everybody wants to go to a bowl," Burns said. "The seniors definitely want to go to a bowl. I don't know when the last time Auburn hasn't been to a bowl game, so we definitely want to go to a bowl game and this game is very important.

"All the rest of the four are very important, but it starts with Ole Miss."

Auburn will have to slow down a talented Rebel offense led by quarterback Jeven Snead, who is third in the SEC averaging 209.1 passing yards per game.
