Littlejohn speaks out about commitment
The collective Oregon Duck fan base has been waiting on pins and needles for verification of a Bryson Littlejohn commitment after a visit last weekend. After official visits to Boise State, Arizona, USC and Oregon, he decided his most recent visit would be his final visit and the 4-star linebacker committed to the Ducks on Sunday.
Rocklin (Calif.) Sierra College linebacker Bryson Littlejohn has been a man amongst boys on the JUCO gridiron for two straight years and his list of offers gave him a number of solid options to choose from. After a visit to Eugene over the weekend, Littlejohn was sold on the Ducks.
"I am going to be an Oregon Duck," Littlejohn said. "I verbaled to them on Sunday."
For months, he was considered a shoe-in to be in a Cal Bears uniform and later in the process, USC was the favorite. After the Trojans decided not to offer Littlejohn on his visit, the Oregon Ducks quickly became the favorite for his services for a number of reasons.
"It looked like a comfortable place to live," Littlejohn said. "I went on my trip and it was beautiful. It came down to Arizona and Oregon. I liked the football aspect of Arizona, but I couldn't see myself living there."
