Former Bastrop (La.) High standout receiver DeAngelo Benton has shocked the recruiting world and signed a National Letter of Intent with Auburn.

Benton, ranked a five-star and the No. 3 overall prep school recruit in the country in 2008, was a two-time LSU signee. He signed with LSU out of Bastrop in '07 and again in '08 out of Hargrave.
