Perennial power Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville will take on a national power from the South on Labor Day in the highlight game of the Ohio version of the Herbstreit National Kickoff Classic for the second consecutive season, it was announced Tuesday.

Glenville is set to play Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County in a matchup of two likely RivalsHigh 100 teams at noon on Sept. 5. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

The matchup is one of four over the weekend - and one of two featuring an out-of-state team. Indianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral, the defending Indiana 4A champion, will take on Centerville (Ohio) High in a 4 p.m. game on Labor Day.

Two in-state Ohio games will be played on Saturday.

Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier will face Pickerington (Ohio) Central at noon before Columbus (Ohio) Upper Arlington meets Springfield (Ohio) High.

Glenville's game with Dwyer last fall was one of the most talked about games all season as Glenville won in the final seconds on a controversial goal-line stand, 26-22, in a battle of then-Top 20 teams.

It remains to be seen if this year's matchup can equal the excitement, but it promises to have as much intrigue. Camden County runs an old-school wing-T offense that is tough to handle for teams that are unfamiliar with it.

The Texas version of the Herbstreit National Kickoff Classic - also played Labor Day weekend - is still being finalized.
