Version 3.0 of our 2012 Class 1A preseason rankings are here in this free article. This update reflects a busy off-season of previews in every single conference within Colorado borders. Find out which teams made our top ten now!

1.) Hotchkiss
Jacobe Galley and Conner Beard will be part of the core at Hotchkiss and that hopes to win a title. Galley was a beast with the football in his hands with over 1,700 yards rushing.
2.) Wiggins
Can they use the momentum from their dramatic playoff run? Finding a replacement for Taylor Risner will be vital but the club still returns a host of athletes who played for the 1A title.
3.) Monte Vista
The trio of Shadron Wenta, Hansel Garcia, and Michael Sanchez will be even better with the experience that they bring back for 2012.
4.) Burlington
Do the two time defending champs have enough in the tank to reload and three peat? Tradition and coaching will have to lead the charge in order to continue competing.
5.) Resurrection Christian
Having one of Colorado's best running backs in Taylor Dewald back for another go around will help Resurrection Christian win a lot of ball games in this fall.
6.) Wray
Cade Reinick is a game changer with the football in his hands and will be better as a senior. Keep an eye on Jaden Valko defensively.
7.) Lyons
The team still has a lot of holes to fill but leading tackler River Crane is one to keep an eye on in the Class of 2014.
8.) Byers
The burden to carry their offense will be placed heavily on the shoulders of Ryan Imber. This versatile quarterback is a man among boys with the football in his hands.
9.) Limon
With the rock solid tradition of their football program, Limon is a club that has the pieces to excel on the gridiron this fall.
10.) Centauri
Will the Centauri come to play in 2012?  This club is loaded with talent and could make huge improvements ovrall if they are ready to take their game to another level.
