Wichita, Kan - Ottawa University's Nicole Gingery (Junior, Lincoln, Neb.) earns both Player and Hitter of the Week Honors, while Setter of the Week goes to teammate Chrissie Jeannin (Senior, Leavenworth, Kan.). Southwestern College's Taylor Hallmark (Junior, Augusta, Kan.) takes Libero of the Week Honors

In five matches this week, Gingery had 59 kills in 120 attempts a .358 hitting percentage, she also tallied 10 blocks (nine assisted). During a match against Central Methodist, Gingery had a career high of 16 kills in 28 attempts.

Jeannin recorded 204 assists (10.74 per set) during the five-match run. Jeanin had four service aces, nine assisted blocks, 33 digs, and 13 kills this week. Jeannin's top match of the week came against Evangel, where in five sets she put up 52 assists and 13 digs for the Braves.

The play of Gingery and Jeannin earned Ottawa victories over Haskell (Kan.), Oklahoma City, Evangel (Mo.), and Central Methodist (Mo.). The 4-1 mark is the best start for the Braves since 1998

Defensive Specialist Taylor Hallmark led a Moundbuilder squad that won three of four matches this past week. Hallmark earned weekly honors with 55 digs in 13 sets (4.23/s) and 10 service aces in 18 attempts (55.6%). Hallmark's week was highlighted by a 20 dig, five ace performance over Hillsdale (Okla.).
