If as the volleyball coaches association says, Kapaun Mt. Carmel's volleyball team is ranked among "others" in Class 5A, then I have to see the teams ranked above them in action because the Crusaders are absolutely loaded with talent top to bottom.

But I've seen at least one team ranked above them, so we'll wait until after Saturday when several good teams meet in the Valley Center Tournament to judge although I can't imagine anyone matching this Kapaun team player for player through the lineup ability wise.

If St. James Academy moves up as expected, then it will indeed be a dog fight in 5A, but fourth ranked Maize South may also move up.

We were at the Kapaun matches tonight with Heights and North and in all three, it took longer to warm up than it took to play the matches.

Here are some of the photos we took and we know that there aren't as many as in some triangulars we shoot, there just simply wasn't enough time or shot opportunities to get them all.
