2011 In Review: The Indians were 11-1, winning the South Jersey Group 4 title by beating Millville, after beating Triton and Atlantic City. They scored 448 points for a 37.33 average, while allowing 211 points for a 17.58 average. Wins included Shawnee, Triton, and Washington Township, while their lone loss was to Camden Catholic.

Departures: QB Manny Cortez- Monroe JC (NY), WR/DB Amar Williams - Monroe JC (NY), RB/CB Tyriek Thomas - Wesley, T Kyle Johnson - St. Augustine (SC), TE/LB Justin Anderson-Copes - walk on at Delaware State

Offense: Pennsauken runs the multiple spread and returns two starters and three who played. The quarterback is a three way race with senior Jordan Johnson (6-foot-1, 188), junior Deyon Edwards (5-foot-10, 150), and sophomore Tyee White (5-foot-9, 160) fighting it out. The running back will be senior Marlin Finley (5-foot-10, 180), who didn't play last year, but gained 700 yards two years ago. Also getting carries will be senior Brandon Tabb (5-foot-9, 170).

The wide receivers will be senior Antoine Dickerson (5-foot-11, 155), junior Larenz Brown (6-foot-1, 175), and senior Victor Soltero (6-foot-3, 180). Edwards may figure here if isn't playing quarterback. The tight ends will be seniors Korey Mitchell (5-foot-11, 1855) and Isaiah Ingram (6-foot-3, 215), with both being standout defensive starters last year.

Two starters are back on the line, with two others seeing time. Seniors Jarrett Hines (6-foot-2, 275) and Hassan McDonald (6-foot-1, 225) return at tackle and center, respectively. The guards have some experience, as junior Jeff Augustus (5-foot-10, 265) started two games, while senior Fernando Valdez (6-foot-1, 253) saw plenty of action. Senior Hendrickson Tineo (5-foot-10, 235) will be the other tackle. Pushing for time along the line are juniors Mike Tomasetto (6-foot-1, 250) and Abdul Lari (6-foot-1, 215).

Defense: The Indians run a 4-3 and return three starters. The line returns all three of them. Mitchell and Ingram return as the ends, with Mitchell recording 13 sacks and Ingram getting 9. McDonald is back at one tackle and Hines will play alongside him after getting some action.

The middle linebacker will be senior Allen Jones (5-foot-11, 200), who played last year as the fourth linebacker. The outside linebackers will be Tabb and senior Zayeed Kamara (5-foot-01, 205). Pushing for time at all three positions is senior Aaron Brown (5-foot-11, 217).

Battling for the two cornerback spots are Dickerson, senior Dimiri Griffin (5-foot-6, 140), and senior Kelley Joyner (5-foot-8, 150). Finley and Edwards will be the safeties.

Specials: Kamara will do the kicking and punting duties. The return men will be Finely, Dickerson, and Edwards.

Question Marks: Finding a quarterback.

Recruits: Ingram and Hines are 1-AA, possibly 1-A, with interest from Old Dominion and Delaware. Mitchell is also 1-AA, carrying a 3.85 GPA. Others can go D3.

In the junior class, Edwards and Augustus are good players.

Pascall and Holmes are the most promising sophomores right now.
