3) Liberty North (2-0) vs. Ft. Osage (2-0)

No team in the Show-Me State has impressed like the No. 2 ranked (class 5) Ft. Osage Indians through two weeks.  A 6-0 defeat of top ranked Blue Springs South showcased their defensive abilities a week after knocking off a quality Park Hill South program.

Leading the way on offense for the Indians all-conference senior quarterback Steven McBee(6-1 175) returns after a solid 2011 campaign when he passed for 1363 yards and tossed 15 touchdowns.  McBee also did plenty of damage on the ground, leading his team with more than 800 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.

Still a young high school, Liberty North is making a name quickly entering this week with the No. 3 ranking in class 4. The Eagles are pounding the ball on the ground, averaging 256 yards of their nearly 400 per week running.  Senior running back Antwynn Beavers(5-9 170) leads the way averaging 8 yards-per-carry, he has rushed for 301 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Tyler Creath has completed 68% of his passes through two weeks for 355-yards and 6 touchdown passes.  Calen Taylor leads the team with 125 rushing yards and recent Tulsa commit Jonathan Parker has rushed for 88 yards and a score. Aarion Penton is a top target and leads the team with 110 rushing yards.

Following a 7-6 opening win against Parkway North the Jr. Bills had an off week to prepare. Junior QB Raymond Wingo is the player to watch at QB.  Wingo can pass and rushed for 177-yards and a touchdown in the opening victory against the Vikings.
