The Prince George Royals football team believes in being a family on and off the field.

This season, the Royals will have a special family connection on the left side of the offensive line. Two brothers (Trevor and Tyler Bembry) will start beside each other as the team gets ready for battle vs. the highly competitive Central District foes.

Trevor is a rising junior who started at left tackle last year before a knee injury cut his season short. Trevor is back protecting the blind side for the quarterback as well as starting at defensive end. 5-foot-10, 220 pounds is not your typical size for a tackle, but at many of the camps Trevor attended this summer, the coaches saw him as one of the most fundamental and physical blockers, one that is tough to beat in one-on-one competition.

Tyler is a rising sophomore who will start at left guard and passes the eye test if you needed the prototype lineman. At 6-foot, 270 pounds, Tyler is a big man that is still growing. This summer Tyler took time off from playing AAU basketball to commit to working out more and competing at a number of football camps with his brother. Tyler's efforts paid off when he was named the class of 2015 OL MVP at the National Underclassmen Combine Ultimate 100 East Football Camp. During the showcase 1 on 1, Tyler received brotherly coaching and encouragement from Trevor that aided him on winning the MVP.

At home, the brothers are always competing against each other whether it is a pick-up game of basketball or playing madden on the X-Box. This brotherly competition allows them to work hard against each other when developing their skill set to be better offensive and defensive linemen.

This season the brothers hope their combine efforts on the left side of the line results in running lanes for the running backs and the pass protective needed to complete passes. Although both brothers have set goals of playing football in college, their current goal is to be prepared for battle in the trenches against the Central District for their Royals football family.
