Notes: Georgia prep was limited to three games in 2006 - underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee. Played eight games in '07, starting once at right guard. Missed two games in October due to stingers and was sidelined for the last three contests with a shoulder injury. Missed the first six games of the '08 season (stingers) before seeing action in five games. Played 13 games in '09 and started five contests (three at left guard, two at right guard). Did not play in the season opener against Charleston Southern due to a disciplinary measure. Started 11-of-12 games played in '10 - six at right guard, four at right tackle and one at left guard. Missed the Outback Bowl with a right MCL injury and did not work out or run at the Combine as a result. Positives: Has a very thick body and long arms and can anchor in pass pro. Moves fairly well for his size.  Scraps and battles. Versatile - has played guard and tackle. Negatives: Too fleshy and sloppy-bodied. Limited foot quickness and agility - struggles to operate outside a phone booth. Marginal balance and body control. Cannot handle quick counters. Only bench-pressed 225 pounds 18 times at the Combine, the lowest of any offensive linemen. Has been plagued by injuries - neck and multiple knee ailments - and stingers could always be an issue. Has only been a 1½-year starter. Summary: Massive, short-area, bump-and-steer blocker who could provide some depth in a zone, slide-protection scheme but will always leave teams wanting more as a starter and projects as a career backup.
